Bebhinn Flaherty
Sports Physiotherapist
BSc., MSc., PBNZ, HCPC
Raised in Galway, on the wild west coast of Ireland and known to most as Bev.
I originally trained in Belfast, obtaining my undergraduate in physiotherapy and my masters in sport and exercise medicine. I worked there for several years, primarily in rugby for a wide variety of teams including amateur, elite and international set ups.
In 2018, I said goodbye to the northern hemisphere and moved to New Zealand. After three years in that rugged, beautiful, unassuming spot I made my way back to the Uk.
I am currently based in London working for a private sports injury clinic and run workshops and course for females athletes and the professionals who work with them.
Saying it straight
I'm not here to oversimplify with useless quick fix tips. I also don't want to bombard you with physiological concepts that make you feel like you need a government issued license to move your own body.
This blog is about taking the evidence from the right sources, balancing it off of my professional experiences and delivering it to you in a way that is practical, digestible and directly applicable to your lifestyle.
